Anyone looking forward to the as-yet-untitled Sherlock Holmes sequel? Snippet and Image Here

"On a frigid November morning, as steam rises from train engines burning fiery coal in a century-old rail depot, Sherlock Holmes is in trouble. Blood on the side of his face, he’s fleeing the staccato rat-tat-tat of 19th century gunfire. Fortunately, his loyal friend Dr. Watson is at his side, as is a rifle-toting gypsy. Outside the depot, Watson and Holmes fumble with their guns to get a bead on their assailants, but the gypsy woman, Sim, beats them to it. She confidently cocks her rifle. Boom! A man falls dead. On beat, Watson and Holmes look at each other with surprise."

I am greatly looking foreward to the sequel! Very Happy

I really enjoyed the first movie. In my opinion it was quite different to the original stories but I enjoyed watching it as an action adventure movie and it very funny too! Whatever makes people more aware of SH is alright by me! Very Happy I'd really love to see Moriarty in the sequel!

I am very excited for Jared Harris playing Moriarty. He played a great villain in Fringe and is a great actor Smile

I haven't even seen the first one yet Sad My mom refuses to because she thinks that it is too different from the originals and because, I quote, "They don't even have British accents"

it does have a very different feel than the original stories, however they do give their fair share of Sherlock quotes and it is very entertaining. Plus the music is epic, I could listen to it all day!

I know I was so excited when I saw that Jared Harris was going to play Moriarty! He was super awesome in Fringe, which is my favorite TV show. I like these Sherlock Holmes movies especially for the reason that they play on what other people choose to ignore about Sherlock Holmes. For example the fact that he is a druggy and a boxer. Most other Sherlock Holmes movies and TV shows keep those parts on the down low or don't even go into it at all. While creating a new feel for Sherlock Holmes it still has many similarities to the books including multiple quotes directly from the book. I was super happy though that they didn't say "Elementary, my dear Watson." So happy that they got away from that being Sherlock Holme's tagline especially since it isn't said in the books. I'm very excited to see the new movie and will definitely be lined up at midnight to see it when it comes out Smile

I'm excited for the sequel. I'll probably have to go see it by myself because my parents hated the first one.
